Old-School Green Bean Casserole

Think green bean casserole can’t get any better? Think again! This classic holiday side dish gets a bold makeover with Bo’s Famous Seasoning, creamy Parmesan and crispy onions that pack a flavorful punch. It’s comfort food elevated to legendary status.

Ingredients:
3 (15-oz.) packages frozen French-cut green beans, thawed and well-drained
½ cup salted butter, divided
1 (8-oz.) package sliced fresh cremini mushrooms, roughly chopped
1 large shallot, chopped
6 tbsp. all-purpose flour
4 cups whole milk
4 oz. Parmesan cheese, shredded (about 1½ cups)
2 tsp. Bo’s Famous Seasoning
½ tsp. black pepper
1 (8-oz.) can diced water chestnuts, drained
1 cup crispy fried onions or shallots, tossed in Bo’s Famous Seasoning

Directions:
Preheat oven to 350°F. Squeeze green beans lightly in hands to remove excess water.
Heat 2 tbsp. of the butter in a Dutch oven over medium-high. Add mushrooms and shallots, and cook, stirring often, until mixture is deeply browned and caramelized, about 8–10 minutes. Transfer mixture to a plate, and without wiping out the Dutch oven, add the remaining 6 tbsp. butter.

Melt butter over medium-high heat; whisk in flour and cook, whisking constantly, for 1 minute. Gradually add milk, whisking until smooth. Cook, whisking, until thickened and bubbly, about 4 minutes. Remove from heat and whisk in Parmesan cheese, kosher salt, and black pepper until melted and smooth. Stir in green beans, mushroom mixture, and water chestnuts. Spoon into a lightly greased 13x9-inch (3-quart) baking dish.

Bake in preheated oven until bubbly around edges, about 15 minutes. Remove from oven and top with fried onions or shallots. Return to oven and bake until topping is golden brown, about 15 minutes.

Deviled Eggs

A perfect bite-sized snack for your holiday spread, these deviled eggs are infused with Bo’s Famous Seasoning for a kick of flavor everyone will love.

Ingredients:
6 large eggs
3 tbsp. mayonnaise
1 tsp. yellow mustard
1 tsp. sweet pickle juice
Bo’s Famous Seasoning, to taste
Paprika, for garnish

Directions:
Bring water to a boil in a steamer pot. Place the eggs in the steamer basket and steam for 16 minutes. After 16 minutes, transfer the eggs to an ice bath and immediately peel under water. Once the eggs have cooled, slice each egg in half and separate the whites from the yolks. Dry the whites off and set aside.

Press the egg yolks through a fine mesh strainer into a mixing bowl. Add the mayonnaise, mustard, Bo’s Fry Seasoning, and pickle juice to the mixing bowl. Mix to combine into a smooth mixture that can be piped through a pastry bag.

Fill a pastry bag with the egg yolk mixture and pipe desired amount into each egg white. Garnish each deviled egg with a dusting of paprika and enjoy!

Cheddar Cheese Straws

These crispy, cheesy treats are perfect for holiday snacking, and Bo’s Famous Seasoning adds a bold flavor that will have your guests coming back for more.

Ingredients:
1½ cups unsalted butter, softened
1 lb. block sharp orange Cheddar cheese, shredded
1½ tsp. Bo’s Famous Seasoning
1–2 tsp. ground red pepper
½ tsp. paprika
4 cups all-purpose flour

Directions:
Beat the first 5 ingredients at medium speed with a heavy-duty stand mixer until blended. Gradually add flour, beating just until combined.

Use a cookie press with a star-shaped disk to shape mixture into long ribbons, following manufacturer’s instructions, on parchment paper-lined baking sheets. Cut ribbons into 2-inch pieces. Bake at 350°F for 12 minutes or until lightly browned. Remove to wire racks to cool.

For cheese wafers: Combine ingredients as directed and chill dough for 2 hours. Shape dough into 4 (8-inch-long) logs; wrap each in plastic wrap and chill for 8 hours. Cut each log into ¼-inch-thick slices and place on parchment paper-lined baking sheets. Bake at 350°F for 13–15 minutes or until lightly browned. Remove to wire racks to cool.
